Cristiano Ronaldo remains in pursuit of a significant trophy with Al Nassr, but his hopes were dashed once again during the Saudi Cup Final against Al Ahli. The match concluded in a 2-2 draw after regulation time, and despite both teams striving for victory, Al Nassr fell short, losing in the penalty shootout.

Since joining Al Nassr in 2023 after his second spell at Manchester United, Ronaldo, now 40, continues to defy expectations, showcasing his ability to perform at the highest level. Before this match, he had already netted 99 goals in 111 appearances for Al Nassr, making his 100th goal in Saudi Arabia a significant milestone.
